GIRLS ARE LIKE APPLES

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven - Ecclesiates 3:1

Girls are like apples.

There are two kinds: those that are fresh, shiny, and really sweet, and those that are worm infested and rotten on the inside. The nice shiny apples are high up in the apple tree, while the rotten ones fall to the ground. The rotten ones are very many in number and seem to be snatched up very quickly because of the ease in getting them. So the nice apples still up in the tree look down and see all the rotten apples being picked up like no one’s business, and they feel totally invisible, that no guy is ever going to look up in the tree and see that they are the good apples. This is a sad state for the good apples because it seems that all the fake rotten on the inside apples are the only ones attracting guys.

However, the good apples fail to realize that there are also two kinds of guys: pigs and monkeys. The pigs are those jerks who date girl after girl, getting what he can from her and then just dumping her like dirty laundry. And then he gets more girls. and more. And the nice guys wonder how the heck the pig is getting all the apples, and he can’t even find one. But here’s the difference between the monkey and the pig, the monkey can climb trees. He has the ability, the patience, and the self-respect to climb the tree and find a good apple out on a branch somewhere. Sure the pigs get a lot more apples, but the apples they get are rotten. And they’re PIGS. Why would a good apple want to go to a pig anyway?
My point is this. The pigs will always get the rotten apples because they can’t or won’t climb the tree. The monkeys can get the good apples but they have to be willing to climb. Yes it will take longer, yes it will be harder, but you won’t have a rotten apple.

So for all you good apples out there, don’t jump down from the tree and rot on the ground with all the other rotten apples, just to get stuck with some pig. Wait for a nice monkey. And monkeys, don’t pick up apples from the ground, they are rotten and probably already half-eaten by a stinky pig. Take the time to climb the tree and get a good apple.

Monkey? Pig? What an option we have. Pity on us.
